LIVE PERFORMANCES 2010 UPDATE

We've just received news that Neil will be a part of the "David Wright, Callisto and friends " line-up which will be the headline act for the renowned E-Day electronic music festival on the 22nd May 2010 in Holland.

This performance will see David Wright performing some of his solo material before being joined by Neil for a Callisto performance and finally by Nigel Turner-Heffer for a Code Indigo perfomance.

More details on this exciting weekend in Holland coming very soon!!!

GEIGERTEK UPDATE

As recently reported, the second Geigertek album, "The Timeless Mind" is now with leading independant label AD Music awaiting it's release date. Thus far we only know that this exciting second album will be released, most likely on CD (as opposed to CDr) in "early 2010". The minute we have a confirmed date, we will of course post it right here.

The Geigertek website is currently under-going a major face-lift and will be live when "The Timeless Mind" is released.

And even before the second Geigertek is released, Neil has already started work on the third album!!! Writing and preliminary recording of this album, which has the working title of "Derelict Modernism", has begun and what has been coming out of the Geigertek studio thus far is already taking on a new sound. For this album, Neil is moving away from the strongly spiritual inspirations of the first two Geigertek albums, this drawing upon one of his other passions, Urban Exploration.

NEW PHOTOGRAPHY MICRO-SITE

A new micro-site has been added to the main website that has photographs taken by Neil. There are three galleries already up-loaded with more to come over the coming weeks and months.

NEW IMAGES ON THE URBAN EXPLORATION MICRO-SITE

Neil and his intrepid team of urban explorers recently visited a small hospital in the Norfolk town of Thetford. As locations go, this small hospital was unremarkable save for one shining glory - a pristine X-Ray room.

LIVE RECORDING OF CALLISTO AT THE 2009 HAMPSHIRE JAM RELEASED

We've just received confirmation that the live set played by Callisto at the Hampshire Jam on the 31st October 2009, in which Neil Fellowes played keyboards, has been released as a digital download on the Musiczeit website. The album will be available from the AD Music website in 256 rate mp3 format and as a CDr as from 7th December 2009. Check out the AD Music online store for more details. For those who don't do downloads yet, AD Music can supply a CDr version (only high quality CDrs are used) in a slimline tray with front & back cover art and on body print. The 63 minute set contains two sequencer based tracks, very much in the Tangerine Dream style and are extended versions of "The Lighter Side of Gravity and "The Darkness of Night", from the forthcoming Callisto instrumental music CD album "NYX".

The release date of the hotly anticipated second Callisto album called "NYX" will be sometime in early 2010, as soon as we know, details will be posted here.

"Callisto played their first Hampshire Jam Festival on October 31st 2009. This download album is a record of that performance. David Wright was joined by Neil 'Geigertek' Fellowes (who replaces Dave Massey for live performances - DM doesn't do 'live'). Despite David Wright injuring knee ligaments during the set up, the performance went down a storm with the audience. The music comprises extended versions of two tracks from the forthcoming Callisto studio album "NYX" scheduled for February 2010 release, and the extended live performance being quite different to the original is an excellent companion to the studio album. Some post production work and mixing has been done to the recording, which has been edited from the original room and house recordings and the rehearsal performances. The music is very much in the style of Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze, so lots of sequencing, and with a little Vangelis thrown in for good measure. But it is very much imbued with the style that has become Callisto - rhythmic and melodic electronic music in the old school style, but done for the 21st century."

AD:2009 ELECTRONIC MUSIC FESTIVAL - 5th SEPTEMBER 2009

The first pictures and reports from the fantastic AD:2009 Electronic Music Festival held on Saturday 5th September 2009 in the Guildhall in Derby are now starting to filter through. There are a few images of Neil Fellowes in his first performance with electronic rock group, Code Indigo on the Images page.

A report and various reviews can be found on the AD Music website where they have a page devoted to the event, which you can find HERE.

AMENDMENTS TO THE WEBSITE

As you can see, the website has been given a complete overhaul, this is in line with the inclusion of Neil's urban exploration activities (which you can find HERE) and the pending re-launch of the Geigertek website which will go live when the second album, "The Timeless Mind" is released. We feel this website now has a much more simplified and stream-lined look and we hope you like it.

PRODUCTION WORK: CADENCED HAVEN

Neil is currently taking his first steps into producing for other artists by working on the production of two tracks for Asian composer Cadenced Haven. The two tracks called "Confronting Conscience" and "Reversion To The Unborn" have a strong ambiently chilled feel to them with an underpinning ethnic Indian groove. More details as we get them.
